Therapeutic & Relaxation:
Swedish massage : learn the basic relaxation strokes of effleurage,petrrissage, friction, tapotment to enable you to give an hour and an hour and half relaxation massage. This course is an intensive over three days and can be accredited hours to Certificate IV in massage . It also allows you to join a massage association and get insurance.

Lomi Lomi Massage
Accredited certificate 30 hours.LEARN A FULL BODY RELAXATION, DEEP TISSUE,LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE WITH A DIFFERENCE. HAWAIIAN lOMI lOMI MASSAGE combines ancient techniques of the Kahunas of Hawaii with modern methods.
You learn both long flowing strokes and shorter effuleage and petrissage strokes
. After 3 days you will have gained skills to confidently do relaxation,deep tissue and lymphatic drainage massage.Lomi Lomi is Hawaiian for Massage Therapy. Literally meaning to push, pull and knead. This relaxing style of Hawaiian massage includes long fluid rhythmic strokes over the whole body using the hands as instruments of the heart.The lomi lomi massage helps relax and lengthen muscles, loosen stiff joints, improve circulation and lymphatic drainage.Lomi is not just a physical restorative massage it also helps clear emotional and energetic blockages. As the practitioner learns to move into a meditative trance so does the client. Lomi Lomi is a gentle non invasive massage where the client is covered to feel safe and nutured at all times.
This is a fantastic first massage to learn as it teaches you correct posture and movement. You learn through the dance like rythmic movements of the hawaiian massage that strength comes from the legs and not merely from upper body. This prolongs the masseurs working life.
